Guarding the gates of Turku since 1999, Posankka is the creation of artist Alvar Gullichsen.
The love child of a marzipan pig and rubber duck is seven metres high. Of course, this makes putting on hats—a student cap on May Day and elf cap at Christmas—a bit of a challenge, but you just have to have a cap, now don't you?
