Take A Tour 2012: Order Instructions and Cancellation Conditions

You can order the Group Tour Packages from Turku Touring simply by telephone or by sending us an e-mail at turku.touring@turku.fi. To book the tour we always need the name of the group, billing address (at the point of making the order), the number of people and the desired tour date and time. If you don’t find from our choice of packages one that suits you, we also tailor tours acc ording to your wishes. In addition to the Group Packages, we can also separately provide guides to different sights.

PRICES
Our package prices are based on adult prices during weekdays. Regarding children’s prices we would ask you to contact urku Touring Group Sales for more details. Sundays and Public Holidays there are increased prices. The driver of the coach is always free of charge and then after going above a specific group size an additional free space will be provided for the group organizer. Package prices always includes usually contain the services that have been mentioned in the package – normally guidance, entrance fees and possibly a lunch. The prices do not contain a coach or other form of transport (this does not include the cruise packages). The price includes the commission, taxes and VAT. Prices are set in Euros. Prices are based on the Autumn 2011 pricing list. Turku Touring reserves the right to changes. We follow  general agreed terms and conditions for tour packages, Included in the guidance fees are social security contributions, administration fees, commission and VAT at 23 %.

RESERVATIONS
For every booking order you will always receive written confirmation of your reservation, either via email or by post. It is always a good idea to read the reservation confirmation through so that the dates and times correspond to what was agreed via email or on the t elephone.  The booking confirmation is worth taking with you on the tour. Our guides will have their own copy of the booking reservation. The order is always billed after the tour. The booking confirmation is not valid as an invoice. The invoice will be sent to the billing address after your tour. If your tour package includes any lunch or dinner reservations, we ask that you inform Turku Touring beforehand of any food-allergies as soon as po ssible, preferably at the point of reservation.

CHANGES
The booking is billed according to the reserved number of people. Changes to the number of people needs to be made at the latest 48 hours before the tour by contacting Turku Touring Group Sales Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 4.00pm. If the confirmed number of people exceeds the actual number of people on the t our then the charge will be for the actual number of people. If the agreed date of the group tour is changed, we reserve the right to charge a €10 administration fee.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations and changes must be made in writing (e-mail or fax) by contacting Turku Touring Group Sales Monday to Friday before 4pm. Tour guidance on its own can be cancelled without any expense up to 48 hours before the tour by contacting Turku Touring Group Sales Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 4.00 pm. If the guide is cancelled under 48 hours prior to departure then we reserve the right to collect €84 for weekday bookings and €139 for Sundays or public holidays. Group Tour Packages cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the tour, on a weekday Monday to Friday before 4 pm will incur a canc ellation fee of €30. Group tour packages will always incur a cancellation fee of € 30!

N.B! If the group tour package includes, for example, food, accommodation services or transport it must be cancelled at the latest 10 days prior to the trip. The packages, which include a cruise, must be cancelled at least 30 days before the tour. If the cancellation of the guide or the en tire tour package is received later than 48 hours (10/30 days) before the tour date, we reserve the right to charge any expenses that may be incurred. This includes any expenses incurred by the guides or the different entrepreneurs (restaurants, hotels, archipelago businesses) that you visit as par t of the package, which will then be the r esponsibility of the customer. If the guided tour package/the guide/transport is not cancelled but the tour is not carried out for one reason or another (e.g. nobody turns up) we will charge for the price of the whole tour package/guide services.
