The Ox Road of Häme is the most important road of early Finnish history.

The route was once used by merchants, pilgrims, and kings, not to mention the Vikings more over a thousand years ago.

Along the route you will find a splendid array of interesting sites. Be the king of the highway and jump to the back of a motorcycle or bicycle, or take the whole family in the car along the Ox Road route. Experience the changing landscape and the freedom to explore. Little detours along the way will uncover interesting museums, churches or shopping spots.

If you want to really experience a genuine journey in time, stay at an old manor house or inn along the way.
